Do we really get a full metre for only £1?
Yes, for every fabric in our £1 range, our customers get a FULL METRE for the same price most companies charge for a sample! 3 metres at Pound Fabrics often costs less than 1 metre if ordering elsewhere!
Due to customer feedback, we have now launched a £2 and £3 per metre range! These are even higher in quality and many of these fabrics are discounted by as much as 80%.
Will my order come in one length?
Yes, the vast majority of orders are sent as one continuous length. Very rarely are orders sent in more than one length. If this is the case, we will usually try calling you before sending your order out to check if this is ok.
How can you sell these so cheap?
We have sourced the very best suppliers and are very selective with our buying. We often bulk buy and only select ranges which will provide you with the very best value. Some of our fabrics are high quality lines, however have minor print defects and so have been reduced giving you as much as 90% off the RRP. Pound Fabrics allows you to get the very best deals available so you can benefit from fabrics at the very lowest price!
Why can't I order 1 or 2 metres?
We have a minimum order of 3 metres per fabric. This reduces the cutting time per metre and helps to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone. We strive to maintain our low prices and top service for everyone always.
Due to the super low price, most customers use all of the fabrics they order and if they change their mind or have some spare, they save them, give them as gifts or donate them to schools or charity. This helps us to keep our prices super low for everyone!
The Website is saying only 1m or 2m left in stock, but isn't letting me order. How do I add these to basket?
When there is less than 3 metres in stock, the system will allow you to order the fabric, but unfortunately only after two warning messages.
The system will initially warn that there is less than 3 in stock and if you click to continue, it will update stock to 3. After this, in checkout it will give a message stating that the basket needs updating, and only after this will the system put the correct quantity of 1 or 2 in basket. Apologies there is currently no easier way of doing this.
Why do items in my order say ‘out of stock’?
Often our website can be very busy, with lots of customers shopping for the same fabrics. Unfortunately, if another customer has the same item in their basket and checks out before you, it can cause the product to run out of stock before you check out.
We aim to add new fabrics frequently and restock old favourites as often as we can - so if you miss out on a fabric, keep your eyes peeled as it may get restocked!
Do you sell full rolls of fabric?

What are your delivery options?
We offer one standard delivery option (within 5-7 working days). The price is based on the weight and quantity of your order, and includes the cost of picking, cutting, packing, processing and delivering your fabric. To provide you with the best value, we have capped the maximum delivery price at £9.99.

Do you Deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we now ship to several international destinations - the full list can be seen when checking out.
Do you accept returns?
Yes we do – just send your order back to us within 14 days for a full refund. Please note fabric must be unused and uncut and we are unable to refund delivery fees. We recommend a tracked method of shipping to return an item.
Will fabrics appear exactly as they do in the photo?
Photos of all our fabrics are taken by ourselves to ensure quality. We inspect these and do our very best to ensure this is an accurate representation of the fabric. Please still bear in mind the actual colour may vary due to differences in lighting, monitor calibration, etc. The colours and quality of fabric may vary slightly when ordered at different times as each batch can be marginally different.
Will my fabric come folded or on a roll?
All fabrics are sent folded. If you are a retailer and require your fabric on a roll, please contact us before ordering as full roll orders have a bespoke delivery price.
If I place two separate orders, can my postage be combined?
Unfortunately, our order system does not allow us to combine orders and they are usually sent in separate packages. We are always improving our systems so may be able to in future.
