Brilliant. Love it. Quick delivery. I wanted a different material for my gazebo. This was perfect. Easy to work with. My only issues is it quite bright. Not that its a big problem, it attracts the flies. I thought it was going to be abit darker. I would of loved like a burnt orange. Next time I will order a darker colour like a red. ❤️❤️
I was looking to buy this fabric on another site but it was out of stock. Through my research I found it here at Pound Fabrics and an absolute bonus at being five x cheaper per metre! I couldn’t believe my luck so I bought it in both colours just in case the pricing was an error! I’ve since ordered more!
I love the vibrancy & it feels very indulgent to touch but being new to dress making I found it quite slippery to handle. Once I had the right needle in place, adjusted my tension and stitch length I was good to go however, the fabric was catching on my sewing plate & screws causing some snagging but once I placed a plaster over the top it was fine. It’s beautiful fabric but requires some patience when handling it & not a beginner’s fabric, it tested me, just don’t rush your project! I made some shorts & a matching top in the green & I am currently making a skirt & top in the purple. It’s my favourite creation so far!

Excellent service, easy to order and fast delivery. The fabric is a lovely light weight denim, which hangs beautifully. I made the Bob woven pants from Style Arc, a barrel leg with elasticated waist and in seem pockets.
I enjoyed sewing with this lovely, stretch fabric and the outcome has got me some brownie points! Especially, as an observer said the tankini looked “Designer!”
Great fabric for the price, easy to handle and sew and didn't fray. The only small issue was that it was a little bit like velcro with my underskirt and kind of stuck to it, but it wasn't really an issue.
Great fabric. I made pjs using the Friday Pattern company DONNY shirt and midnight pj pattern from sew confident
Really happy with fabric. Great quality and easy to sew
A really good quality material at a very reasonable price. It was easy to sew and has made a really hardwearing apron. I am really pleased with it and I have some material left over so watch this space...... There may be a bag or something else made
Lovely fabric to cut and sew and super to wear. I made an unlined jacket which can dress up or down and has the perfect amount of stretch for comfort .
I absolutely love this polyester crepe fabric. There was only minimal fraying as I handled my trousers whilst cutting out and sewing. Washed and ironed fabric before sewing, it’s been folded in a drawer for weeks and have just made them up and haven’t pressed them. No creases - they’ll be fantastic for holidays. They hang well too, and feel nice. ❤️ It’s a shame they’ve sold out! More crepe fabric please Pound Fabrics.
A lovely quality cotton poplin at a very good price. Easy to sew and pleased with how my dress turned out made from my own pattern blocks. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful and comfortable material. Excellent to stitch with, irons and washes well. Great colour. I made a free matchy matchy all day culottes with this. Making the pin tucks was so easy because the material stays put. It frays a little so good to do zig zag or cover stitch. Can use pincking sheers to cut to prevent fraying. I have got dark pink and will definitely be buying more to make co-ord sets with this material.
This is a beautiful light to medium weight fabric, drapes well. Easy to cut and sew with. The pattern is gorgeous, i am so pleased with the outcome, my pic doesnt do it justice!
Just made myself a beautiful summer dress. The fabric was absolutely beautiful to work with. I am so happy with the result. All I can say is “where have you been all my life Pound Fabric.”
Lovely fabric to work with and sews very well on a serger and sewing machine. I enjoyed making a canopy and a seat cover for my swing seat. Great quality canvas, exactly as described and has already tested for rain and is definitely waterproof. Very pleased with my purchase.
First time sewing with double gauze fabric. I was expecting problems but it sewed up beautifully using my overlocker and normal sewing machine. The fabric is lovely and soft, washed well and no need to iron - perfect !
This fabric is so easy to sew ,I made a wraparound dress for myself and my daughter
I pre washed the fabric and it didn’t crease very much
I would highly recommend it and I will buy it in other colours in the future
This is a beautiful polyester fabric that has a look of linen. Very lightweight so you'd need to wear a petticoat underneath but it sews up beautifully. I made a belt to match (see my michoumakes vlog for how I made it)
The dress pattern was the Cashmerette Turner Dress, a firm favourite of mine. I thing I have about 25 made now!
I also bought the black fabric but as yet haven't made anything up with it. I'm thinking a pair of Bob pants but then again Hmmm you never know. ;-)

I used this pretty cotton to make a zip front dress that was very on trend last year. The fabric washed and pressed well, it was a joy to sew and I am delighted with the finished dress. The print matches a design by Lady McElroy and this fabric was offered at a great price from Pound Fabrics.
Bought this lots of times before. Ideal for a machine wash dye (a colour I really wanted) T-shirt with cut away applique detail. Some left over for a white vest top.
Really pretty Polycotton. Will be grateful for lining bags or I might make a quick (if somewhat see-through!) skirt out of it. It is quite nice and soft and a bargain at £1 meter
Great fabric for making polo shirts, thick and good quality. The only problem is, both my sewing machine and over locker hated this fabric. I also ordered in blue which was the completed opposite. I don’t understand as they feel so similar but I really struggled to finish the white versions.
Lovely fabric, easy to sew even with a few layers, found it less expensive to make a new stronger windbreak than buy a new one, all seems double sewn and pockets for poles instead of loops! Plus stronger thread used too! Loving it! 😁
Great fabric!!
Lovely to sew with and so reasonably priced. This pattern is from @theboldone: a designer from NZ. It takes 3.5-4metres so as it was my first attempt with this pattern I didn't want to splurge. It wouldn't have mattered!! This fabric looks fabulous.
compliments the water resistant fabric i had already bought from you and gives a fabulous pop of colour
i’m not that experienced a sewer and will be glad when i finish the final 2 covers (out of 10) as i found it tricky to sew with but i know that’s me! i think it’s great quality
i covered the bottom of the covers with the pink, as it made it much cheaper to make the set
