I’ve only recently got into sewing, but I like making costumes that have been worn by celebrities. The fabric I bought was for a high low skirt with another skirt on top (fabric I bought is for under skirt, it’s great fabric!) with a french Bustle back. it’s far from perfect but I think I did ok for a beginner and I had to make own pattern too. Just need to make the rest now.
This was sold to me as 100% cotton poplin - it is a poor imitation and the colour is not true to sale
I liked this soft plain 100% Cotton Satin fabric in teal so I thought I would try another colour and opted for Taupe. The colour is darker than the website but is difficult to photograph accurately and can look washed out - but it definately is not! It also looks and feels more expensive and has a lovely drape. This colour would be nice as a plain lining.
Plain 100% Cotton Satin Fabric is really nice. The teal colour is vibrent and it looks more expensive and feels very silky and soft. It has a lovely drape - however I could not get a true colour photo when it was draped - it kept coming out blue! My photo next to a teal blanket is the closest I can get which is fairly accurate to the website. Hope it washes up well.
Needed to knock up a saree petticoat for an event and had to be a specific colour as saree was very sheer. Delivery was a little slower than hoped (but within the promised timeframe) but the fabric was perfect. Lovely quality, has a bit of weight, irons well and nice drape too. I would happily use this for dressmaking.

Suoer fabric I am in the process of making the style arc Bronte dress. This fabric is ligth weight cotton but holds the pleats in this dress nicely. Subtle sheen to this fabric.
Gorgeous fabric, feels lovely looks great I bought it to line a jacket but feel now, rather than it be on the inside of a garment it should be more on show, it’s so nice Will definitely buy more and would recommend
