Grey Checkered Muslin Fabric

Was great for curtains, sewed up easily. Just be aware of the width of the fabric when ordering as its quite narrow. So used 4 panels to create these curtains.

As soon as she saw it my daughter said "ooo skirt" 😂 I don't know how the hem managed to come to just over 7M though 😂 it was pressed during sewing but I've run it through the machine as it'll never be ironed again. Cheap and cheerful fabric that sews up nicely and is easy to cut as the checkered pattern is square to the warp and weft! Often cheaper fabrics aren't so I was pleasantly surprised

Fantastic value for money. You've done it again, PF. Was bit unsure how this would sew up, only being 90p mtr. WOW! Sews up a dream, obviously a bit of fraying on cut edges but overlocked and hangs lovely. Used it to make festoon swags in roof of friends consevatory & a privacy curtain for the door. Thanks PF, never had a bad prchase from you, well wrapped & delivery great.

I haven't sewn this fabric yet. Ive just washed it. Planning to make a blouse. It's lovely and soft & doesn't wrinkle too much . The picture is of it washed, line dried but not ironed.

Needed to make curtains to cover a clothes rail but didn’t want to spend a fortune. I was amazed when I found the muslin at an astounding price of 90p a metre. I thought it wouldn’t be very good for that price but it was brilliant, really served a purpose for very little money.

Great value fabric. Bought this after reading other reviews. The price is unbeatable. Need something to keep the direct sun out in the summer but not take away the light. I prefer this to nylon netting. It might fade with the sun but it could be re-dyed if needed.

I originally bought this 100% cotton to make some bread bags as it is a very reasonable price, however I had a bridesmaid dress to make for my granddaughter and decided to use it to make a toile to check the fit of the bodice. This then turned into a wearable toile lined in Pink satin! It turned out wonderfully and she now has an additional party dress to wear (size 6mths). This cotton would be great for a lightweight blouse as it is the weight of cotton lawn. Thanks PF for affordable fabrics :)

Lovely soft fabric, easy to sew, especially as I could use the pattern lines to keep me straight. A touch transparent for old bird like to wear so I made a lining for the top and skirt, but left the sleeves nice and floaty.. Love my oversized summer frock!

I'll be honest, I bought this without a specific project in mind, which is unusual for me, but 90 pence metre it would have been rude not to buy it. Looking at the fabric and the softness I'm thinking maybe a gypsy style summer top.....but as its currently snowing, it's away in my stash for the time being.

This is the third time ive got this. I have used it as a sarong in the heat of the summer, I have used it as an interlining for a quilted jacket and I have used it as a backing for a cushion front, the only thing ive not used it for is a net curtain, though they would be really stylish because this is great fabric and washes well.
