This was one part of the box, mostly cotton or poly. I haven’t a clue at the moment what to use it all for but I shall have fun working it out
Great selection of fabrics.Value for money assorted sizes and fabric .
These mystery boxes are amazing value. I made a baby quilt and baby sleeping bag. I made a flowy top for my daughter's best friend who is expecting her first baby. There was so much lovely fabric.
Very pleased with my remnant box. It has a good selection of fabrics in it and all the pieces are a good size. The smaller pieces will make tops and the larger ones dresses or skirts. Would happily buy again.
Wonderful box of materials. Some lovely teal blue satin, enough for a nightie and lightweight dressing gown. Lots of poly cotton, which I use for cushions. some lovely pink fur, ideal for soft toys and much much more. Its all sorted but unfortunately still sitting in the box as I have such a huge stash, I need to make more space to store it. Thank you Pound Fabrics.
Excellent as always
First time I have managed to get a remnant box, full of fabrics and all a good length.
Two pieces which will go into grand children's dressing up box..all others I will use.
Very pleased, as always, with what I recieve from pound fabrics. 3yr old Grandaughter loves looking through the web page and choosing fabrics for her summer clothes.. Starting them young...lol
I made this little skirt with some of the fabulous organza that came in my recent mystery remnant box. These boxes are such good value and encourage you to try something new.
not sure what I shall do with some of it, but my granddaughter is going to take some to her UNI to make costumes for the dance and drama course, she dances and sings, and some will go to the textiles dept so all will be used
Loved this box! There's so much in it, mine was a brilliant range that represented most types of fabric offered by pound fabrics! Linens, cottons, lycra, ripstop, fleece, chiffon, stretch lace towelling.... Lots of 1/2 meters and 1 meter pieces, with a few larger bits too!
I recently watched some episodes of hoarders
.... Then looked over my shoulder at my pound fabric 'display'
What can I say
I keep. Most of it
. Some I will donate to the local drop in Center as they make items to sell. But its such a lovely mix I will be making alot of sensory items for the elderly in the home I work at... And scrubs!!!
Got this lovely check material in my Mystery Remnants Box. Made a pair of shorts for my daughter who loves them! Lovely material to cut and sew. Hope to get more in the future.
This mystery remnant bundle contained some of the most amazing fabric including suiting which will make trousers, skirts or jackets; satiny polyester for underwear; stretch lace for lightweight cardies or beach cover-ups; wadding for a small quilt, ripstop and polyester for bag lining; striped organza which made a "unicorn" skirt for my three year old granddaughter; sequins to make her a mermaid skirt; water resistant fabric for a raincoat; woollen fabric to make a scarf/shawl. The two rows on the left were 0.7-1.00 metres. The middle two were 1.2m to just under 2m and the ones on the right were 2m or over. Many of these fabrics are available to buy on the website.
This was what was in the first mystery remnant boxes that I got in December 2020. The selection of fabrics was amazing and I wasn't disappointed with anything that I got.
I was so overwhelmed with this parcel that I have already sent a message direct to PF. Great value for money, decent sized pieces and as exciting as Christmas morning unpacking it all.
Some lovely usable larger bits, some good dependable smaller bits. And, of course, those bits you're not quite sure what you're going to make with but know you'll come up with something. A jammed packed box.
Great value for money! There was so veriety much in that box. Ive just made a rather nice dress form a piece about 2.5m. beautiful fabric to work with. Hangs really well.
I always look forward in anticipation to receiving the bargain box. Often there are fabrics I wouldn’t have chosen but they then give me inspiration to try something different. I can’t recommend them enough.
Hello my names Marie and I don't know how I stumbled across pound fabrics but they're so wonderful I have a stash that competes if not betters the local fabric shop,
They're a friendly helpful bunch which makes it worse and the bundles are a absolute bargin and get your imagination going.... You may need to give up work to find the time to sew!!!
This was a fantastic surprise. I hesitated initially because of the cost and other reviews. But...took the plunge and was pleasantly surprised. Again some small pieces that were not usable but on the whole delighted with it.
There was quite a bit of upholstery type material in the mystery box that I sold on in the swap shop and purchased material that I could use with the proceeds. Waiting for mystery boxes to become available again as I love receiving them
Made a few stretchy tops for 2yr old granddaughter
Love it love it, stashing lots away from when I retire, wish I had more time on my hands but hopefully one day x
Always worth the cost, sometimes having fabrics wouldn't usually use is great to experiment with.
Mystery boxes are always fun and worth the price, like Christmas every time opening one for the surprise.
