Great vibrant colour, perfect weight and handled well when sewing
Very much like linen, but without the weight. I made a pair of trousers in 100% linen first, then re-made them in this and this was the more comfortable fabric. Slightly see-through compared with linen, but not noticeably so. Just very much lighter and softer - recommend!
I must have missed the fact that this contained stretch material. Really not what I wanted, feels cheap and not natural as I would have liked. Ah well, I'm sure it was my fault for not reading the description properly. I used it anyway, but I have a feeling the garment will not be worn!
I like the fabric, it is a little stiff, but have made it into a top and I would say it is very successful. I think it will be softer with a couple more washes, so overall I am pleased with the result?
