Plain double gauze fabric available in 24 colours. Double gauze is a breathable and soft fabric, which is made from two layers of fine open woven cotton (muslin). They are attached together with tiny stab stitches in a grid pattern at regular intervals, however this is barely visible.

I used this dusky pink double gauze to line my latest jacket made with floral double gauze from pound fabric, sewing a sashiko thread through all layers for both added strength and design, very happy with it .
I've had double gauze from Pound Fabrics before, so this was a repeat order. I can't attach a photograph as the fabric is not sewn up yet, but has washed beautifully. I LOVE double gauze, and love the colour of this one. It will be turned into a Remy Raglan from Sew House Seven.
Lovely double gauze fabrics. Easy to sew and excellent quality. Bought it in bright red and a pretty green to make some soft little trousers for my grandson. A comfy pair of summer trousers. I don't think the plain double gauze is such good quality as the patterned ones I have, but hopefully the trousers will be ok.
I made this super jumpsuit for my daughter and my grandkids got a crop top and short suit from the left over fabric. I was a bit worried about sewing the double gauze but it was lovely to sew.

I bought double gauze previously & it's become a favourite fabric. Planning to make some summer trousers. I've just ordered some ribbing fabric, that I hope will colour match, for an elasticated waistband. Otherwise I have enough to make one out of the same fabric. Also ordered some more double gauze in a different colour / pattern.
Took a gamble with this pattern. Used this beautiful lightweight material. I had to alter the neckline a bit because of the stretch, to sit better. I've started making my second jumpsuit in a different material. Absolutely love the material and will buy more for future. Will be good for holiday
The colour is more burgundy in real life. The picture is taken after washing and as you can see it did not fade or bobble. It is very squishy and soft.
