You can't see the interlining fabric in my curtains, but you can certainly feel the difference in the lounge. Lovely quality fabric, easy to work with. Great result!
There's not much to see really. My 'best friend' likes to sleep by the front door in the hall, despite him having a comfy bed in the living room, so I wanted to make the area a little more cosy for him.
I made a single curtain with the interlining, and sandwiched it between the curtaining fabric (not PF) and a 'curtain' of blackout fabric (from PF).
The area is now practically draft proof for Rusty, therefore my house must be a little warmer.
The interlining is thick and warm and it's added more volume and weight to the curtain.
Purchased to line a simple quilt I am making. Lovely weight, super soft and so easy to sew up. Pictures will follow when the wool mix tartan fabric arrives. So nice I purchased more to line the curtains I am making. Will make the house so much warmer.
This was a lot more sturdy fabric than I thought it was going to be - I'm going to use it for the front and back door curtain lining.
But, you could also use it as wadding in a quilt if you wanted. It's super soft and brilliant value for money.
I'd order this again and would recommend.
I bought some curtains as I liked the fabric but both the fabric and lining are thin, I have not yet made up the interlining, but appears warm and should do the job.
