New to sewing here and I'm glad that the fabrics are so reasonably priced - I can afford to try out more projects without worrying too much about messing things up.
I love the thickness and quality of this fabric. I used it to make cushion covers and a couple of faux roman blinds to replace some tired decorative furnishings in my caravan. It did slip a little bit on my sewing machine, but I changed to a walking foot and it seemed to do the trick. The overall result was much better than I could have bought and I would definitely use this fabric again.
Used this to make a 1960s style cape coat. It sewed well (with minimal fraying) and looks really nice.
I have other plans for this fabric and may have to buy some more.
I used the material along with ripstop to make waterproof washbags. I'm very pleased with the quality and end result. Because it is heavier material, it holds its shape well.
