This beautiful, medium-weight, knitted polyester fabric that has a lovely drape. It is breathable and has a slight give across the width and length. It also features a natural crinkled texture that gives the fabric a wonderful look as well as tiny holes all over as part of the design. Depending on the project, it may require lining.

I have sent away for different fabrics with stretch as they don’t need darts like long ago. This is my ‘new ‘hobby and is very relaxing. Love making edge to edge jackets for autumn and into winter. Made a holiday coverall for around the pool. Very slight give to the material so pockets weren’t the best idea ! Used Pattern Emporium pattern About Town Popover shirt & dress, but omitting collar. Fabric easy to cut and sew. Thanks again PF.
The colour and pattern of this fabric reminded me of a crocheted dress that I had when I was small.
This fabric was easy to handle and sew and didn't fray. The pattern that I used was Tilly and the Buttons, Freya sweater and dress in the book Stretch. The pattern was easy to follow and I think the finished article is the best thing I have ever made for myself. Only £2 for 2 metres of fabric plus the thread and some stabiliser for the shoulders, armholes and neck which I already had. An absolute bargain and looks a lot more expensive than it was to make 😁.
I bought the beige fabric first as it reminded me of a crochet dress I had when I was small. Rather than having 2 dresses the same colour I thought I'd buy the pink as well and make this one first as I wasn't sure how the fabric was going to handle. I needn't have worried. It was easy to cut, sew and didn't fray and I am so pleased with the result. Now to make the next one 😁
Did have some reservations about getting this fabric but I wanted to explore the possibilities and came up with this, I can wear it as a beach cover up or on cooler days as an extra cover. Fabric itself does not fray and easy to sew with. The price was awesome as always
