Bamboo Terry Towelling has become very popular for making nappies, towels, due to it being durable and absorbent. Also it is anti-bacterial, sustainable and quick drying. Bamboo fabric has a soft silky texture similar to cashmere. It is a very breathable fabric, and comfortable against the skin making it suitable for clothing such as dressing gowns.

Gorgeous Terry fabric. Made so many baby bibs and towels out of this
This towelling fabric actually shed less than I expected it to and was easy to sew with. I used it to line a dinosaur fabric robe I made for my young grandson, for him to wear after swimming. He had it for his birthday and went to bed in it that night, it was so cosy.
I love this it's really soft. I bought this to make face cloths with liberty tana lawn.
It's lightweight and soft. I would prefer a heavier weight, but this will do for now. I wondered whether to add padding to make the facecloths more substantial.
I think this is more suited for robes and loungwear. I also intended to make a bath mat but I will use double thickness because one layer is too thin to stand on.

Absolutely lush, soft, cuddly fabric. Lovely to wear after a shower. Brilliant fabric to sew. I used overlocker, sewing machine with walking foot, and cover stitch.
Based on the Style Arc ‘Eme’ dress pattern, but omitted the sleeve & hem facings and hem tuck detail. It’s very generous in size, I’m a 20, I made this in 18 and would size down to 16 next time.
