A premium-quality Bamboo wadding/batting with scrim to minimise bearding and help the wadding hold its shape. This is made of 100% natural, soft bamboo fibre, manufactured without chemicals and bleach.As bamboo is a fast-growing, sustainable crop, this wadding is eco-friendly as well as biodegradable, antibacterial and hypoallergenic.
Bamboo is luxuriously soft and easy to work with. Its breathability and thermal regulating properties will ensure that you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer!

Pre-washing instructions: Hand wash only. Use cool water and mild detergent. Soak for 15 minutes, squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel. Dry naturally by lying flat. Expect a 2-4% shrinkage.
Care instructions: Machine wash with mild detergent or quilt wash on a gentle cycle at a cold temperature. It is recommended to rinse(do not vigorously agitate) and squeeze water out by hand, rolling in a dry towel or machine spin. Allow to dry flat in the shade. Please note that drying in a clothes dryer causes excessive shrinkage.

Used the bamboo wadding in this sleeping back with PF cotton poplin outer and PF cotton waffle inner. Very easy to use and quilt together. Resulted in a very snug but breathable baby sleeping bag, so far we have used this in freezing nights and these Warmer nights and the bamboo wadding has maintained a good temperature on the baby (lots of checking). Hasn't shrunk much despite not pre washing the wadding.
Slight practical note-don't directly iron wadding as it does melt oops. Never used wadding before so I wasn't expecting it.

I’ve used SewEasy quilt batting many times, but mainly the 100% cotton. However, after seeing the amazing price on Pound Fabrics for this 100% bamboo batting, and wanting a lighter weight, I decided to give it a try.
It has a beautiful drape. So very smooth to work with.
The only downside is that the scrim is quite loose against the bamboo. But extra quilting pins used during the basting process ensured that everything stayed smooth and even. Now, on with the quilting!
