Birds and Flowers Tapestry Fabric

I have ordered this previously and re-covered my foot stools with it. I have ordered some more to make matching cushions as it is so lovely and easy to work with.

Massive project making curtains with a drop of 250cm (two widths sew together) and two doors at over 300cm. All fully lined with thermal blackout material. The material sometimes stretched a little when sewing the two widths together but considering it was such a huge piece of fabric it wasn’t surprising. The worst bit was moving around the sheer weight of it all. I am so pleased with the finished resort and would recommend this fabric for curtains, especially with the lining. It’s already keeping the room a lot warmer and looks brilliant.

I am so pleased with my curtains and backdrop for my four poster , the feedback from the bed maker was that , the bed is dressed as extremely authentic looking , which was the look I intended- so really happy ! The fabric is heavy , beautifully designed and draws smoothly!

Made 4 of these cushion covers, 2 backed with navy velvet and 2 with ochre. Didn't centre the motif... Oh well still happy. Now enough to make curtains to cover space under a counter in the same room

I have had many compliments on my bedroom canopy for which I used the tapestry fabric, it was lovely to cut and handle and my sewing machine handled the fabric well, really pleased with the price which was so reasonable in comparison with other sites ! My friend asked me to make him a cover for his 50 inch tv. I saw this fabric and knew he'd love it, he chose the green colour but all four different colour-ways are pretty. This fabric frays badly but it was easy to work with and sew. It's the first time I've used a tapestry fabric but I'd definitely buy this again for other projects. It was a bit fiddly with the cut-out for the TV stand at the back but I'm really pleased with it and it looks beautiful.

Love the birds and flowers tapestry fabric, I used 94" White poly cotton sheeting fabric as a lightweight liner. First time making lined curtains, Very happy, a little fraying on the tapestry, but nothing pinking shears could not solve. 10/10

Lovely fabric - wish we could order half metres for more expensive fabric . Made cushion covers and could have used a bit more material to make the envelope overlap - stitched press studs instead - does the job!
