The fabric was really nice, the colours were lovely and bright. I've not used this type of fabric before but it sewed up really nicely. So far I've only made a top but I've got 2 dresses to make in the other colours I bought
I like this fabric and have enjoyed sewing with it. I had it in dark green and made it into a hoodie using New Look pattern 6529. The fabric is a little stretchy and has a quilted like texture, but it cut easily and sewed up really well. I used a needle for stretch fabrics in my sewing machine with a normal Gutterman sewing thread and was very happy with the results.
My first time sewing with this fabric and I’ve since bought it in 2 more colours! Lovely and thick with good stretch one way and minimal in the other. Perfect for a cardigan!
I’ve made three of these cardigans now in this cable knit fabric and it’s perfect! Lovely to sew (except the buttonholes!) and nice and thick for winter
My latest version of the Southbank jumper dress - this time made for my daughter. I have this fabric in several colours and I am not disappointed with any. The fabric is very soft and comfy to wear. Love the colour of this dull navy.
Doesn't show the colour correctly it's a lovely teal colour, I've used this fabric in various different colours and it's great to work with and washes well
Maybe predictable but I bought the cable to make the Southbsnk Sweater dress and I love it. The fabric was great to work with. The colour is so rich. I'll be getting more colours when I've sewn through the rest of my bundle.
I love the cable knit, so cosy. I have made lots of hoodies and cardies with this fabric in various colours. This is my latest creation, it'll keep me cosy whilst the temperatures are still cold.
Love this cable knit although required more stretch for the pattern I chose. Good weight of fabric and easy to sew just need next time to make a looser fit.
As a beginner sewist this was a dream to work with! I drafted and sewed this midi length pencil skirt in an afternoon to wear on Christmas day. I bought 2m so am excited to make something else. Love the weight and drape of this and for a great price too. So pleased with how it turned out!
