I ordered this fabric for printing onto, and it was perfect for this. I made a laundry bag for my hand knitted socks and then printed on the outside. It makes me smile to look at!
I bought the calico for making toiles and it’s the perfect fabric. I washed it before using as it softens the fabric this is my personal preference.

Awesome as every, speedy secure delivery, top quality fabrics (I bought some gabardine as well as the calico in this order). Great quality perfectly weighted calico for multifarious application, for me light-mediumweight clothing and some bag action! :) No issues I can think of, currently being used for a '2 or 3 out of 1 block' toile, jacket anorak, something else too' approach. :) Pictured in part with said toile working with an old bedsheet previous to purchase, wider articulated sleeve save for another project, layered vented back yoke for the current one, that kinda approach. :P I've added interfacing since photos and it handles fine, irons great for checking out pleats etc, I dunno what else to add, absolute bargain at this price, great stuff again via PoundFabrics all round, cheers! :)
I bought a 3 metre piece to use as a toile for various projects. A substantial weight so ideal to use for toiles for jackets, coats, etc. No reason why it cannot be used for other things such as tote bags and crafts as well.

Great value calico. I've used it to make pencil cases and the toile for a pair of trousers. Before embarking on these, I washed the fabric, as advised by Pound Fabrics, to allow for any shrinkage.
Used this great quality Calico (£2.35 per metre) to make a dust bag for a Louis Vuitton bag and it worked a treat. It sewed beautifully. I will be purchasing more at this price and quality!
I recently enrolled in a pattern drafting course and used this fabric to create a bespoke bodice block. This calico is excellent quality and amazing value for money. It is firm and crisp and perfect for creating toiles. I have just placed an order for more!
I use calico for all my 'toiles' and practice pieces to make sure of a good fit before cutting into the good fabric. I use the calico pieces as the final pattern and it stores well for future use.
I used this calico for a recent bodice and trouser fitting workshop and found it to be a very good weight and quality for the job at hand. The calico is not to heavy and thick to manage and easy to sew up and press where neeeded. I ordered some more to make a sunshade Sil for the garden to keep the sun off for the grandchildren to play. I would highly recommend for dressmaking toile and fittings in addition to basic household projects such as tote bags and aprons.

I used this fabric for my own set of fitting curtains that I also lino printed onto, which even that turned out amazing on this!
This is a go to ,must have in stock item it colours beautifully and once washed the weave is strong and tight very few issues with slubs or pulls.
