Delighted with the pink wool blend fabric and the lining also from Pound fabrics. A dream to work with. I’m a relative beginner and set myself this challenge. I used McCalls Astoria M8156 view C. I added belt loops, a belt and fur lapel/cuffs that weren’t on the pattern. Lots of complements! Thank you for the fabric at a great price.
Tammy Handmade Margo in a lovely slightly stretchy wool effect fabric. Toasty warm and a little difficult to sew on seams but I should have used my walking foot, my fault! Any pattern matching was a bonus as the back hem I just couldn't get to match up, again my fault not PF!
I was very disappointed with this fabric when it arrived. I had expected something more like a wool weave but this is between velour and fleece and doesn’t have a great drape. However, all that said, the pinafore I made turned out well and the fabric was very easy to work with. It will be a warm addition to my wardrobe. It does have some stretch so fingers crossed it doesn’t seat.
Bought this to make a Victorian walking skirt. Fabric feels lovely and it’s ever so forgiving because the amount of times I had to takes it apart but you’d never know. A really robust fabric.
Very quick service. I know the fabric is called soft wool touch - but it is softer than I expected. Hoping to make a pinafore dress. It is a lovely colour.
Used the blue fabric for this dress/pinafore from the four colours I bought and also a pencil skirt all from 2 metres so costing only £8.50p which I think is brilliant value. The fabric washes and irons like a dream and now need to decide what to make with the pink and grey! Service from PF is brilliant as usual.
I love this fabric have bought all four colours. Details say minimum stretch but I would compare it to a ponte Roma, stretch's one way and didn't need a zip for the skirt. It washes very easily and doesn't need much ironing. Now to decide what to make with the other three colours. Another winner from PF and hope they can keep finding these lovely fabrics.
I haven't had chance to use the fabric yet, but it feels warm and soft. It will make a lovely winter pinafore for my daughter and a short jacket for me. Delivery very prompt.
This is a.lovely weight fabric,.much better than I was expecting. Washed well, as far as.i can tell it didn't shrink. I shall be making a dress with it.
