Pattern m8553 loved making this dress. Material quite thick but looks very much like denim. Wished I’d bought more. Very easy to sew. Small amount of fraying. Might be saving this for next autumn or winter
Lovely fabric, made up relatively easy but it did fray quite a lot but nothing too excessive to put me off buying more if the various colours came back in stock. Can’t wait to team it with my flowered cotton material which is so much like lawn beautiful.
Good quality fabric, looks like linen but feels heavier and doesn't crease. I found it difficult to work with as it frays, a lot, but would be ok with an overlocker, which I don't have. Drapes great for trousers.
Lovely fabric, looks like linen but you don't get the creases like the real thing. It does fray so an overlocker or zig zag stitch would be helpful. I cut a 4" square and washed it to see if it shrinks at all and it didn't. Am very pleased with it.
It’s beautiful fabric and drapes really well. I have this in another colour and have made wide legged trousers with it. It does fray, so I overlocked all the pattern pieces. Nevertheless, it wakes and dries well (even in the tumble dryer), which is why I bought some more!
