Definitely thinner and lighter than other brushed cottons I have purchased from Pound Fabrics. That said, it has made pyjamas with ease, washed lovely, sewn well and only a gentle fraying (I overlocked all the edges). As always, very happy with the fabric and the price paid.
I am buying fabrics from now until I retire next summer. I usually have in mind what I'm going to make and am thinking pyjamas for the pink checked material
