Lovely silky fabric. Easy to sew & very cool to wear. There is a wide side stripe section running down one side which I didn't use in the trousers. An excellent price as always from Pound Fabrics.
So far, it’s like this. I’m finding it harder to work with this fabric because I’m not very good at sewing knits. Even though I used a stretch needle, I only have a regular sewing machine, not a proper overlock. But I really love this fabric, I couldn’t resist it, I just had to buy it. If you want to keep the border on the fabric as well, you need to work with it carefully so the pattern lines .
So versatile I have made a suit with a skirt and trousers and a dress.
Very happy with the fabric it’s so nice to work with, with the extra salvage being so wide for all trim.
Think this material has a print that is a bit quirky. Found this pattern, so am going to try and edge the jacket and the bottom of the dress with the border print. Can wear them together or the dress with a black jacket or the jacket with a black dress. Think it will hang very well.
Feels comfortable with nice drape. Wasn’t sure what to do with the wide stripes that are at the selvedges so cut them off, not the most economical use of the fabric. Saw another review where they’d made good use of the stripes but that was beyond my level of expertise. Made the Love Notions t shirt and very happy with outcome. Good value and easy to work with.
