I chose the fabric to use on a workshop where I learnt to use an overlocker by making this top. The fabric handled nicely and is very distinctive, I'm pleased with it!
Bought it to make a pair of joggers but it wasn’t as heavy as I expected - more like a thick t-shirt than a sweatshirt - so went for a cropped hoodie instead. It’s really lovely stuff, great to work with, perfect level of stretch for a bit of funky comfort, and the pattern is just gorgeous (if you like dragons)!
First time buying/sewing French Terry and I liked it. Not sure I made the best item though. Great to sew and feels nice againt my skin. I used a normal foot and a walking foot. The walking foot was better. I will buy FT again but not in this colour or pattern as its not really my style. Fabric was lovely, had stretch but not baggy and is not too thin.
PJ top for eldest granddaughter. Accidently had fabric the wrong way up. So, ordered some more and made the PJs with scales the other way. She was delighted. 🥰
Sadly I hadn’t enough fabric to perfectly match the pocket, however it was really easy to work with. Slight stretch and nice drape. Not overly thick so no issues sewing through several layers.
This was really lovely to sew. I also used the coordinating cuffing from PF, I've made leggings in the plain teal to go with the top and the colour match is excellent.
Used this lovely French Terry for a hoodie, joggers and with some interfacing to make a matching mask and pair of wings. Very pleased with the end result ready for world book day! The fabric was great to cut and sew with.
Gorgeous French terry. I managed to squeeze an Audrey top from Sew over it London, from 1m with a little adjustment to cuffs. Added a removable bow. A lovely , easy to sew fabric. Will be buying more!
Fabric chosen by my grandson, for his 8th birthday hoody. Made up beautifully using waves and wild pattern. Easy to pattern match and I think it looks fantastic ! Shall certainly buy more from pound fabrics. Excellent customer service and quick delivery! Very pleased x
Lovely fabric, quite a heavy feel and very stretchy.
I found using a stretch needle and walking foot really helped. All my cuffs, necklines etc I did with a twin needle.

Fabric is good to cutout and make up without fraying or unraveling. The pattern doesn’t quite run true across the width, but close enough. I’ve not worn or washed it yet, but feels comfortable when tried on for fit.
It is the first time I have sewn with French Terry. It is a great fabric to work with. I used a stretch lining to make the Kate Jersey dress by Simple Sew. It feels very comfortable to wear. I look forward to seeing a bigger range of French Terry fabric available as I can think of many more ways I can use it in the future.
Used to make a Whippet sweatshirt for Myrtle. Fabric is so beautiful with really vibrant colours and it was great fun matching up the scales to the appropriate body parts. Lovely cotton looping on the back makes a comfy garment, just the right weight for chilly evenings at the pub!
this is the second top i have made using french terry fabric , i absolutely love the color of this dragon scales one ,i washed it at 30 degrees , and line dried it , it looks the same as it did before washing etc , it is easy to cut and sew , i used a rotary cutter and a normal sewing machine ...no fraying , not too much fluff in bobbin case after i finished .. i would highly recommend this fantastic fabric
Great value fabric and delicious colour. I was waiting for this to come back into stock so I was pleased to see it re-stocked. Cuts well but edges definitely need to be overlocked/finished. Sews well; doesn't stretch out of shape and drapes well. I used McCalls pattern M8343 and although I am pleased with the finished result I would probably hack the pattern a bit next time around as the insert panel is not quite to my taste. I used some left over anti pill fleece in teal which keeps the neck zip nice and upright.
Love this fabric and the colours. I made the Fran top by Style Arc. It’s an easy pattern and easy to wear style. I had seen the fabric elsewhere but it was almost double the price. Good price and speedy delivery. Perfect combination. Thank you PF😀
