The lace is excellent quality and was exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't the easiest to sew with and had to use a walking foot but I think that's just how lace is, obviously there are parts where there's no material so it was sewing spaces. The finished look is great and I would sew with lace again. Pound Fabrics were very helpful and even went to the trouble of seeing if their red thread was a good match for the material. I would highly recommend them.
I made this entire outfit from PF fabrics for a wedding. Its a cream jersey for the top, viscose satin for the skirt (attached together) and the navy floral corded lace for the bolero over the top. I had lots of compliments on this ensemble!

I’m going to use the lace to make a bedroom lampshade using a balloon and glue in the form of a Chinese lantern. However, when the lace arrived it reminded me of the lace I bought for making my wedding dress and so brought some happy memories. The lace is beautiful and thick enough for a wedding dress but not diaphanous for a veil.

We have a black/white tiled bathroom and the lace is to replace a curtain . The lace is such good quality. It is heavy and has a scalloped edge. Thank you PF for such a bargain.
