Lovely soft cotton sateen, with a nice amount of stretch. Just right for a summer top. I did wash it with a colour catcher, just as well, boy did it run! See picture. Width on website said 132cm, after a 40 degree wash, it was 128cm.
This is lovely. I looked at it several times and finally decided to purchase when my fashionista granddaughter liked it too. The slight stretch makes it very comfortable to wear. It sews beautifully and hardly frays. I didn’t notice shrinkage in the wash. But it does not like a hot iron! Am considering the purple version, but perhaps that really is a step too far!
I wanted inexpensive fabric to try out a jumpsuit pattern. It’s a lovely design. I washed it in hand hot water, hand wrung it out and line dried it, partially in the sun. The design looks fine and I can’t detect any shrinkage. Minimal creasing also but I haven’t ironed it yet to see how that goes. On receipt the material had a bit of a chemical smell but that’s all but gone. Very pleased so far. Thank you.
Not used this fabric yet. Not quite what I was expecting but thats my fault asI didnt read the description properly! Wanted to make a wrap dress but feel its probably not got the right drape that I wanted. Will make fantastic trousers or an A-line skirt though.
I’m not overly liking of this fabric - the colour and print was not quite as I expected, but comparing what I got with the website photos, they are a true likeness.
it was very cheap and I bought it to use for toiles, so good for that. It has a slight stretch and is a little smooth from the sateen weave.
Not sure I’d wear it, but perfect for my drafts before going to the expensive stuff.
