I love this pattern! The fabric is very easy to work with. So far, I’ve made cushion covers for outdoor furniture. Planned are a wipe-clean table cloth and some bags.
Cross body bag with piping made from pound fabrics faux suede. Bag straps from pound fabrics waterproof canvas off cuts left over from garden brolly cover. Good scrap buster. Simplicity 9000 from 1999.
Beautiful fabric and very easy to work with. Sturdy, but not too stiff to wear. Made a gardening apron, trimmed with some plain navy canvas (also from Pound Fabrics). I had plenty of fabric left over so will probably make a matching kneeling mat.

Beautiful quality fabric, so very straightforward to pattern match and to sew. I also used PF plain water resistant fabric for the lining and PF Picot edge bias binding for the trim.. I’m so very happy with the end result.
I made a kneeling mat attached to a ground sheet plus a zipped bag with a D ring swivel to put the mat in. This attaches to a camera bag for transport.

I am thrilled with this fabric! I thought it might be too heavy for a coat but it’s not, it handles beautifully and is very easy to sew. The pattern is lovely. I have lined and interlined it so I am ready for anything the British winter can throw at me!
I ordered the RED fabric. But its very green overall than the picture shows. Hardly any of the deep red is showing. Doesn't go with rest of my william morris bl8nds etc unfortunately
