Great value double gauze made trousers and sleeveless top with the same fabric last year, washes well but iron on wrong side as gold flecks melt under the heat

It was used as a table Runner on my Christmas table and has now gone into my stash to be a summer skirt.

The gold fleck double gauze is a fabulous fabric, soft and gentle, washed well. I'm going to make some PJ bottoms, and line a PJ top for my mother...photo coming soon!

This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this muslin, twice using it as a base layer under netting for a party dress. It’s easy to handle, doesn’t slip when sewn, cuts well & washed well with no fading.

A lovely weight of fabric for a summer top.

Lovely material with pretty gold in it. Ideal for an evening dress.

This fabric is as light as a feather and a really bright white. Made two summer tops and would recommend this fabric for hot days.

This was my first time sewing with double gauze and I absolutely loved this fabric. Is lovely to sew and feels amazing. Please do not iron the golden bits without protecting them! They will suffer. I made a Style Arc Bonnie Top and I wear it a lot, even if not perfect!

Love this fabric looks very classy

I bought the plain black cotton gauze fabric and love it. However, the grey fabric with gold spots that I bought as a contrasting fabric for details on the same garment was very disappointing as the gold melts under even a cool iron. Hopeless for dress-making!

Beautiful fabric for what was needed. Bought to make a Halloween skirt. The black muslin is thick and not see-through. The gold sparkles add extra wow to it. Easy to cut & sew together

Drapes really nicely - double gauze isn’t the best to gather and sew on the overlocker as the pressure of the foot flattens it and you lose some definition - so here i added some elastic - love the colour though!

Beautiful fabric that I can hardly bear to cut into it. It will make a lovely dress to wear over the festive season 😊

This was lovely to sew with and looks really lovely when made up into a garment. I added a panel of lace to the skirt too, but the double gauze is fab with it's little sparkle.

Made this simple vest top, and faced with a lightweight facing. Having never sewn with double gauze before I’m really pleased with the outcome. I love the feel of this fabric , and still have some left. I also ordered the blue, so more to come

Lovely fabric. I messed up the original bodice and had to order a bit extra. You can see in the photo the colours are slightly different but I think I’ll get away with it. Great price for double gauze

Lovely to work with, be careful when pressing as gold speckles don’t like the heat of the iron

Hmmm ... so love the gold speckled design and yet that's its weak point. I wore a top I made out of it once, for a bbq. Possibly not a smart choice as I ended up with grease stains. Then I washed it, stains remained, then soaked it in vanish for a day and the gold came off. As per picture, now it just looks weird that it is covered in some pale peachy spots.

Lovely fabric. I think I will had wash it so the god doesn’t lose its sparkle. I made the Andi top from swim style patterns

Really great fabric lovely burned orange colour and was really easy to work with. Only down side is you cannot iron on the gold details or they will melt and leave an ugly mark on fabric.

Lovely fabric

Another gorgeous fabric from PF. I took note that someone had problems with washing so I washed it on a 20 degree wash and it has come out just fine. Between a burnt orange as stated and a terracotta. Lovely quality an in my stash for next year.

Made a beautiful robe for my daughter. Don’t iron the fabric though as the gold dots melt!

My bit of Barbie-inspired handmade wardrobe!! I do love pink, I have to be honest. And I also love a tiered dress with pockets! So I made this self-drafted tiered dress, using a bit of inspiration from a few different patterns. It's made from Gold Speckled Double Gauze Fabric and I LOVE it!! #doublegauze #barbieinspired #pinkdress #handmadewardrobe #maxidress #dresswithpockets

Easy enough fabric to work with, although I did use an overlocker as it does fray. Simple style but looks very effective with the gold sparkles.

Gorgeous colour. Lovely lightweight fabric. Will be using to make a summer maxi dress.

Lovely soft fabric with a good drape. I really like how the gold catches the light - be careful not to iron the dots though!

Gorgeous material, was looking forward to making a top with it. However, the gold flecks came off when I prewashed the fabric before using it, despite me only washing at 30*, so now it just had white glue dots on it. Will attempt to use inside out now .

Really nice to work with and looks fabulous but I’ve only given three stars at it pulls quite easily and the gold comes off when you iron it, leaving white blobs instead of gold ones. As long as you cover it before ironing, it’s fine though.

The colour of this fabric is beautiful and the gold dots make it really dressy. However it’s not easy to work with. Being a gauze it’s naturally crinkled and when the crinkles disappear the size changes. Also, it frays a lot, and you can’t iron the gold dots. But it’s a lovely weight for summer so worth the effort!

Lovely fabric to work with. It’s a beautiful colour, and sewed up really nicely.

This is such a wonderful fabric to work with. It washes well and you can even tumble dry it on a low heat for a short while. I made this dress for my little 4 yr old granddaughter who adores this fabric with the gold bits that shimmer. It’s her go to dress and she adores the colour too. I can highly recommend this fabric. In fact I’m hoping to get around to making myself a top for the summer out of what’s left. Now looking at the other colours too lol.
