The fabric was easy to sew and made a lovely kimono jacket. The fabric is quite see through but goes perfectly with a black top. Looking forward to wearing it when the weather gets warmer.
I wasn't sure whether the pattern on this fabric was going to be overwhelming but it is honestly beautiful. It is very light and drapes well but it will need to be lined.
This is not what I was expecting. I’ve ordered lots of Viscose fabric from PF, challis or poplin type and as the description didn’t say anything different I expected this to be the similar, but it’s much more like a crepe or chiffon, feels like a nylon scarf. It’s rather see through. I put it on the table and it wrinkles as soon as look at it.
It’s not suitable for the soft, cool summer dress that I was going to make although the colour would have been. Not sure what I could use it for, maybe a beach wrap.
First time I have made this mistake.
I am pretty new at sewing and I believe, it will be a challenge, for me, to try and sew this fabric. Although, I can't stop imaging the potential of the fabric to be a nice, flowy skirt. And just for a bargain price :)
Hoping to make a floaty summer dress with this beautiful print! It wasn't as soft as I expected when it arrived, however once washed - it's soft and floaty and will make a beautiful dress or two!
It's great value fabric. Lovely pattern. The fabric isn't silky as i thought it would be, it's more firm and not as flowing. It's a little see through so I'll probably line it or wear with a little slip underneath. Love the colours.
This is a lovely floaty fabric, gorgeous colours and looks way more expensive than it actually was. I initially thought I'd make a top and wide leg pants, but I now think it may be a little thin for pants so I'm going to make a duster coat/shirt dress.
