As a 'heart' charity we just love this as it is the colours of our charity branding! Our heart is blue (for the de-oxygenated blood) and red (to show the oxygenated) - as babies born with heart conditions are often known as 'blue babies'. Years ago they did not survive, now there are over 250,000 adults living in the UK with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).
