A sturdy elastic! I sewed it into the channel with a zipper foot. The thickness of the elastic meant the machine stitched easily along the edge, giving me neat gathers at the waistband of these pyjamas.

Very strong heavy duty non roll elastic. Too stiff to use in the pyjama pants waistband it was bought for, but will definitely be useful for jeggings or heavy duty fabric.
