This hessian is laminated on the reverse side which helps give the fabric more structure and makes it more sturdy/stiff. It's perfect for tote bags, table mats and anything else needing a waterproof lining to protect contents or surfaces.

I have laminated hessian bags that need replacing and wanted to try this fabric to make some more. It is hard to find at this price. I will be ok but I should have paid to have it rolled as the crease on the weft weakens the plastic and cannot be removed so I have to work around it.
