I've adapted a dressing gown pattern to make this - what my Sister has classed as a ' ladies smoking jacket' (I gave up years ago!) I wanted to make something to wear around the house that wasn't too 'bedtimish' and thought the faux suede would be an interesting fabric. I've fully lined it and turned up the sleeves (with a button fastening)to appreciate the silky print. Quite chuffed with the result and love the faux suede, colour is fab too.
Thin and lightweight but does look and feel like soft suede. Will be making open front jacket.
Such a lovely, soft fabric. It looks and feels like chamois leather. I lined the Manon with another gorgeous Pound Fabrics purchase, thid beautiful, pinky peach jacquard satin. My go-to for all my fabric purchases! ❤️

Unfortunately I cannot make anything this year as I am buying material for next summer when I retire and can spend my time sewing. When I see something I like I purchase it to add to my stash. I have a pattern in mind when ordering so I'm hoping for a top and a dress with this material.

Faux suede lovely colour but somewhat thinner than I hoped..wanted to make an unlined coat but would need a lining. Still useable and good value.
