Melange Knit Fabric - now available at the UK's lowest price!
A medium-weight melange knit fabric which stretches greater in one direction. This soft and stretchy fabric would be ideal for all sorts of dressmaking projects including cardigans, dresses, skirts and more! Available in 14 colours.
The Ivory variant of this fabric does not have a noticeable melange effect, however, it features the same stretch and texture as all other variants.

This fabric was easy to sew but I find it a little scratchy to wear. I overlocked the edges first. It was good value for me to try out a pattern. Not as warm as the soft melange jacquard knit fabric from Pound Fabrics. The only reason I would buy it again is to use to try out for sizing as it was very reasonable in price.
So easy to sew with and a beautiful colour, I made the Marbella top from mood sewciety and a matching bodycon skirt and they’re so comfy and wear very well
Nice lightweight fabric - made a tunic length laundry-day-tee by Love Notions with it. I didn’t find it to be see through. It does shed quite a bit when you’re cutting but once the seams are serged that issue goes away. Nice soft heather colour.

Having finally received the order (my first EVRi loss) I found the material easy to sew. The overlocker was definitely needed for the raw edges. Very pleased with the finished result. Thank you Pound Fabrics for replacing the order so speedily.
Use this fabric a lot,for tops and lighweight trousers in warmer weather easy to sew always pleased with result. My phone not good with colour send photo looks grey but actually lovely dark army green

I love this fabric and have made garments in several of the colourways. Just ready to make one last "lightweight" jumper for spring and the weather has changed! Not complaining, I will put this project on the back burner and turn my attention to summer dresses 😊
This is a really pretty colour and very easy to sew with but it was a little thinner than expected. However it was still ok for the shawl collar of this jumper.

Previously I bought sofa covers for my L-shaped sofa which really didn’t fit, so I decided to buy fabric to give it a try.
I just measured and cut it to into two pieces to fit the L-shape sofa.
It didn’t require sewing at all.
Made this dress to wear on Christmas Day.
Easy to sew, no fray.
Lovely and soft yet warm and feminine with a nice drape.
Launders well and little to no ironing.
