I absolutely love this design. Made a summer dress for my grandaughter.
Love this fabric - I have it in both colours! It's so nice working with a cotton as it behaves itself unlike viscose! I made Tilly and the buttons Nell straight blouse. Will attempt the dress now as I'm chuffed my first attempt at buttonholes worked!
Great value Cotton Poplin Fabric. The colour is a bit darker than the website image which I don't mind. The fabric is a little more structured and will make a nice shirt or dress as inspired by others.
Love this fabric. It’s a fairly crisp cotton poplin, in just the right weight/density for the blouse that I made. Beautiful warm toffee colour with buttery yellow tulips. A neat, small floral design. I made it up into this fitted blouse with hidden button placket. I’m very happy with the result and I have enough of the fabric for a second project.
It’s a nice slightly heavier quality poplin, good for a shirt dress, skirt, trousers or something similar. It’s a bit heavier for hot summer but perfect for cooler days. Nice colours and seems to wash well.
Lovely busy fabric, perfect for a summer skirt. I made the Tammy Handmade Simi a line skirt, I extended the length and although the fabric is very light in weight for the pattern it is still nice with a thick pair of tights and chunky long cardigan. Would make in heavier fabric next time.
The flowers on this fabric are a peachy colour which look far nicer in person. It washed well and is sitting in my stash to be made into a skirt. Great fabric and prices from Pound Fabrics.
I loved this fabric; it was crisp and smooth, which made it ideal for lining a skirt I was making. I made the Camden skirt by Nina Lee in a brown denim and this silky fabric was the lining for the skirt, pockets and waistband. I loved the way the lining peeked out a tiny smidgen from the pockets (I call this a design choice and not bad sewing as I love the way it looks).
I really like the poplin fabrics, nice light weight but with a little bit of body in the fabric, easy to sew and as with all my makes for the summer they will be a short sleeved tunic with variations in style.
