Love this fabric, bought some shirts but like this colourway so will be making this Butterick pattern
This was the first time I have ever used a brushed cotton for dressmaking. I was worried it would be like the flannel sheets used in bedding but it isn’t like that at all. Its lovely and light and drapey but really warm at the same time. Was very easy to sew. Colours online are a true reflection. Only thing to bare in mind is, it does fray easily so id advise overlocking seams.
It's nice and soft, but a lot thinner than expected. It has a lot of movement which makes cutting and sewing bias seams tricky. Made some PJ bottoms, but wish it had been heavier weight.
Lovely soft cotton fabric. Not too thick but can imagine it to be warm for autumn or winter shirts. Not yet made it up but really pleased with the feel of it.
I’ve now bought denim, poly cotton with sheep design, mustard & black checked brushed cotton & just ordered some stretch jersey.
I am making 3 pairs of adult dungarees from the denim. The rest is to make various Christmas gifts. I love all the fabric ordered so far & Fantastic prices, quality & Customer Service Amazing.
Yet to use this but the fabric is lovely and warm and is the best price online for this sort of fabric. I bought 3 lengths of different tartan flannel fabric from you. All are lovely. This is marginally heavier than the other two so will be great for a winter dress.
