This fabric was easy to stitch with a strong denim needle and good quality polyester thread. When adding the fleece lining it became more difficult to stitch. I had to push the fabric under the needle and at the same time pull from the front. The stitches became very small. So it may be easier if you line the waterproof material with brushed cotton, not fleece.
Made a couple of treat bags with this material. It is excellen quality and has a rubber type back making it water resistant. Will definitely be making a cushion for my dog to lie on with this.
I used the fabric along with the teddy fleece to make and easy clean dog bed and as you can see my dog loves it . This fabric is very tough , waterproof and so far hard waring. I will warn you that you will get through a couple of machine needles as the rubberised backing sticks to the needles .. still worth it 💚
This fabric is so easy to sew, I used it to make a reversible coat for my dog, warm on one side and waterproof on the other. I used paw print fleece fabric for the other side and bound the edges together with black biased binding. Both fabrics were from pound fabrics, great value and quality as usual.
Lovely fabric perfect for a new coat for my son's dog. Really good quality No problems sewing the bias binding on the edges. Really pleased with the coat and Buddy likes it. 🤭
Made my mums little dog a coat from this fabric as she couldn't find a suitable one off the shelf, she was super happy with it! He looks very cute in it I think. It was easy to work with and good value for money.
Have started to cut out the fabric to make dog raincoats but had to stop to make three dresses. Fabric is great quality but haven’t yet tried to sew it on machine.
This is lovely quality, purchased it to make dog coats and they have turned out lovely. Definitely waterproof as I was out all day in heavy rain and it kept my whippets dry.
