Plain Black PolyViscose Fabric - now available at the UK's lowest price!
A medium-weight polyviscose fabric with a wonderful drape. It features a minimal stretch across the width and a slight give across the length. Suitable for a range of dressmaking projects.
Used this black material as a contrast to the check. It gave more body to the upper part of the dress and looks great as a facing to the pockets. There is a slight stretch in the material which is another plus to this pattern as it doesn’t have a zip.
I love this fabric - the quality is fabulous. It's so easy to sew with and the finished result is of quality. I made Pattern Emporium Seachange jumpsuit with it. I'd definitely buy more of this fabric.
Made maternity trousers for my daughter for work. Also used pound fabrics ribbed cuffing to make the waistband. Easy to wear trousers and easy to wash and dry. Fabric draoes well
The fabric is nice but had some stains and chalk marks on it. I washed it twice with stain remover and got the marks out so I will keep it. Not very impressed tho……🫤.
It wasn't what I was expecting but it is hard buying fabric online rather than in person. I can't use it for the project I had in mind but will for something else.
It's good quality and was a good price.
