Chambray fabric is lovely to sew. Have made many garment with it. Jumpsuit dress and now a skirt that I have made for a wedding anniversary garden party.
Really lovely to work with, made a TATB lightweight jacket for the summer. The material was a tad thinner than I expected but it's still lovely and provided a crisp garment. Very pleased.
Easy fabric to work with and excellent value. First pair of trousers made in 50 years, am very pleased. Fabric would be excellent for a shirt but that’s beyond my capability.
I made the Melinda dress out of the fabric. It is lightweight and a lovely light denim blue. It was easy to work with but does need overlocking as the edges fray a little. The fabric was a great price and arrived quickly.
I'm just in the process of making this dress for my holiday abroad, (A). The fabric is really easy to work with and nice and light in weight. And hardly frays at all.
The chambray does fray, but it is the nature of the fabric, so make sure you finish the seams well.
It is a good weight to make the Joss pants by Seamwork, I put inseam pockets instead of outer pockets which I prefer.
I used 2 meters instead of the 3 meters so I have enough left to make a top.
And I live the fabric, it was well and doesn't crinkle, I highly recommend it.

A really nice light weight Chambray, ideal for summer clothes. I made a pair of shorts and I am going to wear them together as PJ shorts.
It did fray bit , so you will need to finish the edges by overlocking , a zig Zag or French seams.
Beautiful colour material, but it does fray, it really needs to be overlocked. It has great movement and requires little ironing. I just need to do the button holes, which I’m practising on with scraps at the moment.

Lovely lightweight denim made wide leg shorts with pockets as requested by my 5 year old great grandaughter trim PF bias binding purchased previously . Easy fabric to sew washed well. Have plenty left to sew a pinafore dress for her at a later date .

The chambray fabric made up so well into a fab pair of palazzo trousers. It doesn’t crease as much as you’d expect, either, and it’s such a pretty blue. I’ll be buying more to make a little top to match!
The delivery time was good. The fabric washed beautifully and was easy to cut out and sew. I did find it frayed a bit but nothing that caused too much trouble. The finished shirt is a very wearable item and looks good.
