This fabric is an absolute dream to work with. Very sturdy yet soft and easy to manipulate. It does fray a bit so I’d recommend overlocking the edges as you’re working.
I made a pair of Daphne Trousers (the modern sewing co.) and have a fair bit left over, so will probably be making a pair of shorts.
The colour is absolutely gorgeous- much more vibrant than the photo shows.

I have commented on this fabric before. I love it. Have not made anything with the red drill yet. Just washed and ironed ready to sew. It is a beautiful bright red colour. True red id say.

This is by far my favourite fabric from PF. I have purchased quite a few colours by now. This particular piece of cotton drill was used to make Lander shorts. I needed just 1 meter for size 10. It is the perfect weight for trousers - I’ve made Lander pants, Lander shorts, Closet Core Frank jeans in many colours. Unfortunately the colour fades quite a bit after washing but this is expected for cotton fabric and wouldn’t stop me from buying it again.
Perfect fabric to make footplate overalls, whether working heritage Deisel or Steam the fabric is made from 100% Cotton, which fulfills safety requirements. It's easy to sew and feels like it's going to withstand being used as a working garment.
I use natural dyes and make quilts form the fabric I dye. I have included a photo of two cushions I dyed and sowed. I buy unbleached calico from you for these. I have not used the last fabric I bought from you but the thick cotton is lovely.
I used the moss green for this bomber jacket. It’s a lovely colour and easy fabric to use. I’ve ordered it in black and light brown for other patterns.

I bought the fabric to make some maternity catering trousers fro daughter in law who is a chef. The fabric is great quality, washed well, and considering it is 100% cotton recovered from creasing well.. it was also a good dark black. It sewed well and the resulting trousers are smart. I would definitely order again. Thanks.
I’ve just cut out some trousers, having washed the fabric first. It seems excellent quality, just the right weight for summer trousers.
It’s quite a blue grey and will go with most of my tops.

Excellent quality and a really good colour representation compared with the image on the website. I haven’t used it yet but it’s been overlocked,washed and dried and I’ll be making some jeans with it really soon.
