A high quality plain French Terry fabric available in a wide range of colours. French Terry, also known as loopback jersey has small loops/piles of yarn on the reverse side, giving it extra comfort and warmth. This fabric has 4 way stretch and would be suitable for sweatshirts, hoodies, pyjamas, tops, leggings and more!

I was initially going to use the pink cotton jersey for tops and today I was musing on what was needed in the living room. I realised I needed a change of colour for part of the throws for the sofa and have used it for that, it has lifted the room and brought newness into the living space.
So I am tinkled pink. 🩷
The French Terry sews easily - I used an overlocker for the most part and top-stitched using Gutermann Maraflex thread which worked well with my old machine.
Paired with another PF fabric to make Mizzle dress for grand-daughter.
I used this to make a hoody and I love the bright poppy colour. I used gutermann easy sew thread # 984 and found it a good match colour wise.
I'm not sure how well it will wash yet, but it coped with a 30° wash and low tumble dry before being sewn up.
Made Christmas pyjamas for my adult daughters and myself featuring Xmas dinos with this lovely thick french Terry in blue/Dino printed, plus red tubular ribbing & stretch bias.

Made a couple of jackets for my grandson using the ivory French terry…. Wow! It was a perfect match for the fabric I was using! My grandson is lvl 3 autistic and non verbal but we know when he hates the feel of a fabric (I make all his clothes) but this has a thumbs up by all! It’s soft has a little ley way and washes amazingly! What’s not to love!

I made a batwing cardigan with this French terry fabric. It is so soft and comfy to wear, a useful layering piece. The bonus is it is so easy to sew and just the right thickness.
Lovely fabric I made the bottom half of a jogger suit as a lounge combo and was very pleased with the result so I’m going to make another one with patterned top and plain bottom again for winter 👍
