This is a lightweight and drapey fabric. Is shrinks a bit while steam ironing and has a tendency to pill. I made a pair of wide leg trousers and they are very comfortable.
Absolutely love this fabric and will be buying more. It’s great to sew but not so easy to unpick 😫. I used the Style Porter pattern which I changed a bit but had trouble with the bottom. It’s not perfect but don’t expect many noticed.
I’ve mixed opinions about this Italian stretch crepe, I love how it handles, washes and needs little ironing and also how it drapes. However, I almost didn’t use this pink (love the shade) because a couple of weeks ago I made some baggy trousers in the beige, BUT after only being worn on 3 occasions the fabric has gone bobbly by the pockets and also across the front which I presume is from rubbing against my top. It’s such a shame because I thought I’d found my new summer fabric for trousers because the colour choice is fantastic. Sadly I won’t be purchasing any more of this fabric ☹️
I just love this fabric, I got the purple first and made a top, trousers and a skirt with 3 metres. It sews lovely, has a lovely drape and feels really nice to wear. I’ve had lots of compliments wearing it. I’ve since ordered more in three different colours, which I haven’t got round to sewing yet.
I’m pleased with this Italian stretch crepe. It’s easy to wash, iron and so easy to sew. In the fabric I received there were varying degrees of “crinkle” in it, luckily all the less crinkle worked in at the body of my trousers and not the legs. It’s thin fabric but the beige is not see through as the white is. I made “baggy” trousers to wear during the heatwave and they are very comfy, in fact I can’t even tell I’m wearing them.
I’ve been on a mission to find/make a pattern for the perfect vest top; and I think I’m there!

I bought this Italian crepe to make trousers but realised the white was too see through. So instead I made this top, the fabric is nice but I don’t like my self drafted style. I’m going to change the ruffles to flounces if I have enough fabric left. But that’s now a job for another day. I like the fabric and the drape which is good as I have it in 2 other colours.
This fabric is so easy to handle. Not a good picture. StylecArc Anna pants ideal pattern for Italian stretch crepe. Also made a navy pair. Perfect for the summer months.
