I used this for the waistband of my swim shorts, no need for elastic either much more comfortable, easy to cut and sew, fabulous price, quality fabic
This is the second colour of this fabric I’ve sewn up. The other was also green but a bit zingier. The colour in this fabric is quite rich and has a subtle glittery finish. You’d be wise to mark one side as “back” in a few places as soon as you get it! It’s nice and stretchy and handles well.
This is a lovely fabric, and although quite slippery, it is not difficult to sew. It has a slightly glittery surface, which is nice. I made a fully lined bikini for my daughter and cloned it from an existing garment she has that fits. Good value from Pound Fanrics yet again!
I have some bras that I am unable to replace now as they are discontinued. The back panels are beginning to show signs of wear and I have already replaced one back panel successfully.
This was beautiful to handle although slippy as expected. Truly 4 way stretch as described so able to fit and not fall down when exercising. Duathalon shorts pattern from Fehr Trade.
Lovely material for my granddaughter. Made top, bell bottom trousers and bike shorts. Absolutely loved them. Now she wants bell bottoms in the pink and lilac which I have some left from previous project
Made a pair of 3/4 length leggings. Drew up the free pattern using instructions from So Sew Easy. Added a yoga style waistband.
The pattern & this fabric turned out great. Very comfy. Only downside is that this colour shows sweat marks. (Goes slightly darker). I guess that why most people seem to choose black/ v dark colours.
I had never worked with with lycra before so was a bit nervous, but it was pretty forgiving! I need to trust the stretch a bit more as I made these cycling over-shorts too big, but the fabric was brilliant. I have made two pairs with different combinations of the black and fluorescent yellow and love them!

I am a sewing newbie but the fabric felt like nice quality with a nice shine to it. The colour is really nice too. I've been making outfits for dance and it's worked well. I used two layers
I made some jupiter leggings with this. if was my first time working with this type of fabric and i found it quite challenging. The fabric itself is lovely, thick with a lot of stretch., if feels substantial.
The color didn't match with the image displayed in the website. Despite the quick reply and kind attitude when I tried to communicate th issue to the customer service, the suggestions were not helpful at all. I was told I could return the fabric and get new one by paying the postage on both. It was wrong of the company, and nothing to compensate for it.
