Plain 100% Merino Wool Jersey Fabric

This is a really good quality merino knit fabric. Much thicker than the fabric I bought elsewhere. I'm currently in the process of making a number of vests from it. And the first one is very warm. Warmer than anything I've bought ready made. It's very stretchy, with excellent memory and very easy to sew. It also washes well. Do be aware that it appears to be double-sided. I spent a very long time trying to sort the wrong side from the right side before I started cutting it, but as far as I can tell, as long as one works from the same side all the way through a garment, it doesn't seem to matter. Yes it's expensive, but I can see these vests lasting an extremely long time.

Highly recommended. This is quite simply the most beautiful fabric. Soft, warm, hard wearing. Washes very well in the washing machine on a wool wash. Made a top in the first colour I purchased. Now about to make a dress then a pair of leggings. I would love every colour. It is my winter staple. Thank you for selling it. Thank you to whom ever makes it.

Beautiful merino jersey. It’s really hard to find this in the UK. It has a great weight and nice drape and is soft to touch. I bout 2 colours and am using them to make simple but cosy base layers for winter.
