This is the second time I’ve used this material for a blouse. It feels lovely against your skin and it drapes nicely. The edges do fray so I used my overlocker. Really good value for money.
Not sure if I like it. It’s soft and not bad to work with, but it looks very polyester-y. I guess it makes sense since it is polyester, but I’m just not loving it.
I misread the description and the thought this was peach skin Jersey as I had planned to make a dress for autumn. When it arrived. It's beautiful and a drapey fabric, but not at all warm enough for autumn. It reminded me of create a sheen fabric which I used to buy many many years ago when fabric was measured out in yards and not. However, I did make the dress and it turned out very nice. On reflection. However, I think I'd have preferred to have made a shirt dress with a white collar with it. You never know. I might just make one of those too. 🤔
I made this top for a 20’s themed evening, as the fabric was very reasonable. The fabric is light and tends to fray but using an overlocker for the seams was fine, I’m pleased with the finished top and will be wearing it not just for the event,
This is a lovely fabric and rather heavy as i found when i did a double skirt but that was coz i cut one of them not on the grain. So i thought to double it then i sewed them together on the hem and top stitched it. But it is that lovely i bought some more of it on my second order.no more doubling up with the new one.
Soft to the touch…easy to handle when sewing. Lovely shade of white which is easy on the eye…can be co ordinated with other colours to create a vibrant fashion creation.
