Slightly heavier than I expected and not a flat weave as linen usually is. It sewed up nicely and I'm happy with the jacket.
Very happy with this stonewashed linen blend fabric in navy. I would say it’s more of a mid grey blue and I like it better than the navy I was envisaging. This is a medium weight and sewed up well. There was a little fraying when washed, which is to be expected from linen. I made the Pattern Emporium Making Moves Pants with 2mtrs.
This is a lovely, heavyish, linen. Washed well and was great to sew with. As with linen, it did fray , but using the overlocker stopped that. This jumpsuit should be lovely in spring and ( being in UK ) some damp and chilly summer days too! Very pleased with my purchase .
I made a lined bodice for an Austrian folk dress ('Dirndl') from this linen. Beautiful to sew with. Maybe a tiny bit thinner than I had expected but it will be cooler in summer.
My favourite fabric is viscose linen. It drapes beautifully, it’s so breathable that it’s comfortable in summer, but it’s also thick enough for spring and autumn. This is a great version at a great price. I made it up in the Tilly and the Buttons Safiya Pants.
Really loved this fabric! Wanted a human version of the dress the mouse is wearing in the second picture, and this was just the right fabric. It also gave me a chance to use a beautiful piece of handmade lace given to me some time ago. Going to be a favourite dress forever I think.
Lovely fabric with excellent drape. Easy to cut and sew. Arrived on time and was properly packed, in polythene, to keep it dry. I made some Sew Liberated Chantrelle Pants, to which it lent itself perfectly, and are wonderfully comfortable to wear, as either day or evening wear, on my present holiday in Tenerife. Thank you Pound Fabrics, for always being reliable.
This is seriously lovely fabric. To date I have made two waistcoats from it in two colours and loved each one. It is a lovely texture and weight of fabric.
