I found it very slippery/tricky to work with but it washed and dried really well and is very soft. I used it to make a little top and leggings set for a baby.
Beautiful stretch velvet that shows different tones when catching the light. Just finishing another empire line dress then I will repeat with this fabric.

Great weight for drapey seasonal trousers. Sewed up easily on the overlocker with no fraying. Washed well but wash first wash separately. Comfy velvet/velour trousers which will be useful over the festive period. As always great value for money again from Pound Fabrics 😊
Lovely fabric, although probably not for beginners. It was slipping and sliding as I was sewing it, but that’s more to do with my skill than the fabric itself. It’s soft and lovely to touch and I did manage to come up with a wearable top in the end that I’m gong to enjoy. :)
Lovely colour pattern very easy to sew but did experience some issues with fabric curling. Would it stop me using the same fabric again no. Overall experience of using Pound Fabrics excellent and would recommend to family and friends.
Sheds like crazy. It also can stretch funny if it doesn't run through the machine smoothly. If you need to unpick it it's incredibly difficult to do without putting holes in the fabric. Make mistakes at your peril!
This fabric was perfect to make 100 chair covers for my daughter’s school for a beauty and the beast inspired event. The quality (and price) was fantastic! It was a dream to work with!
I was very pleased with the colour. Used for trousers and the back of a waistcoat. I found the velvet very challenging to sew, trying not to use the iron anywhere near it, doing lots of tacking and using tissue along the seams. I got there in the end, but it was not an easy project.
Lovely fabric but, on reflection, stretch fabric not really suitable for this bag. However, I have enough left to make an evening top which does require some stretch.
