Beautiful fabric. 100% cotton and handles beautifully. It's quite lightweight, but perfect for this little summer kimono. I enjoyed every minute of this make and am delighted with the result.
This is Tilly and the Buttons Indigo dress. I love this pattern and lengthen the bodice as didn’t like the under bust version. I now have more of these that I can count and am still making them. The fabric was a dream to work with and sewed up beautifully.

When I was sorting through my loft in August 2022 I found a pattern that must have belonged to my beloved late Mum.
It was priced 2'/6 and had my Mum's maiden name written on the top. I know it was an original pattern from the late 1950s as she married Dad in early Sixties.
I just knew that I had to make this dress for myself.
I chose the Rose and Hubble fabric because it just seemed the perfect choice - poppies for remembrance.
It felt like my Mum was with me as I stitched and sewed. Mum taught me all I know about sewing as I was growing up. Her legacy continues.
