Prym Metal Sew and Knit Gauge
Prym's metal sewing gauge is so handy for setting, measuring and marking any measurement. Its so neat you can use on work directly on the sewing machine or on knitting or crochet
The red plastic spacers allow you to pre-determine the dimension of a seam and distances between button-holes and to transfer them effortlessly. A hole in the upper corner of the gauge makes it possible to secure the tool and to use it like compass to trace circles and curves. The scale is shown in both centimetres and inches; the inch side has additional notches to make marking easier.

The excitement for a new one of these is that same feeling you get when you change the rotary blade
Does the job but a bit flimsy so gets bent easily. The red moveable bit is quite loose so I have to put a bit of sellotape on it to keep the measurement I want. Inexpensive so ok, but I’d expect a bit better quality from Prym.
Great little tool. Have used it to mark button holes, hem lines and measure garments so I can draw my own pattern. I am sure I will find other uses in the future.
This is one thing I just won’t be without. I have had one for years but the other day I could not find it, I just about had a panic attack. I did find it but have purchased a new one just to make certain I am NEVER without one.
This really is one of my most important tools.
