Used check and lining for a thirties cape for an actor. Super easy to cut and sew and absolutely no problems with the hang of the garment. Worked like a dream and super cheap as well
Beautiful, heavy wool blend fabric, pleasure to work with and looks very expensive - it wasn't! - ideal winter dress, fully lined in PF anti static lining.
Delighted with my first ever coat, using this lovely Red Dogtooth Check wool blend 😃. At £5.50 pm it was a great buy. As it was my first attempt didn’t want to spend too much on material but I’m delighted with the quality & it kept me beautifully warm on my first outing 🥰
The fabric contains wool, but still withstood a 30* wash. I am really please that 1 metre made dress, waistcoat and bag, all for £5.50 (plus zip and lining). What a bargain for granddaughter, Grace!
This was a lovely fabric to work with and I am very pleased with my pinafore (fully lined with the anti-static lining purchased) and look forward to the autumn when I shall start to wear it.
Good material for skirts or jackets . The fabric feels like wool and is alittle scratchy so you may need to line. It sews very well and doesn't fray too much but there are some stray fibres when cutting. I found it washes well at 30 and only minimal shrinkage.
Lovely - heavyweight and cosy, smart, great value for money. Winter fabric. Used it to make the V&A Mary Quant Dress. I have a little left over and thinking of making a skirt.
