Made a loose top, used a 90 needle and it went through the sequins no problem.
I am very pleased with my sequin fabric, my intention was to use for table covering for Christmas to add sparkle. With the rest of the fabric will make a top. The order arrived quick and well packaged.
Surprisingly easy to sew. Slightly transparent but not an issue. Quite stable despite having some stretch. Looks fantastic when made up. Sheds sequins everywhere but that's all part of the fun in making dance clothes I suspect
As always really pleased with the Fabric, Service and Delivery. After a recent episode dealing with another Company who were new to me and most unhelpful and short cutting the fabric I would definitely recommend Pound Fabric for good quality and service.
I used this at Christmas for the sleeves on a Sew House 7 Remy Raglan. I lined the sleeves with viscose to prevent itching. It worked perfectly. Sadly no pics as it was a quick make for a hastily arranged catch up with friends.
Made a reversible dress (Ellie and Mac pattern) for my friend’s daughter, and her son wanted a matching outfit so he got a waistcoat. Lovely fabric- good stretch and not see through. Made fab and fun Christmas party outfits for a 3 and 5 year old.
Downside is that I will be clearing up sequins for the next 6 months!! But both overlocker and sewing machine managed the sequins well. An easy fabric to sew with.
Have always loved Pound Fabrics for value ,quality,and all round service ,but I was a bit disappointed with the Black Sequined fabric ,I thought it would be more sparkly nevertheless as always the price was amazing and I will use it to make something for Christmas .
