A plain, lightweight double gauze fabric. Double gauze is a breathable and soft fabric, which is made from two layers of fine open woven cotton (muslin). They are attached together with tiny stab stitches in a grid pattern at regular intervals, however this is barely visible. It has a natural crinkle texture that gives it a lovely look.
This fabric is ideal for making lightweight dresses, trousers, tops, blouses, scarves, shirts and more!

Nice quality double gauze. Washed well. It was a bit brighter than I expected so decided to make some summer pyjama trousers. Happy with how they turned out. Fabric is very soft and comfortable.

Lovely soft fabric ,perfect for summer clothing at a knock down price .Planning to make an unusual bomber jacket with matching ribbing for the cuffs and wide waist band ,obtained from another seller .the garment will have self lined front for modesty and bishop full sleeves which the fabric is perfect for This will use quite a bit of fabric but no problem when the cost of fabric is so little for the quantity and quality received!
Bought this to make baby feeding cloths for my granddaughter who has a poorly baby. Very easy to sew, whipped them up in no time. Managed to get 9 out of 2 meters & hemmed them on my serger using a tiny rolled hem. Lovely soft fabric & a bargain in the sale.

I’d seen the large double gauze sheets advertised at great cost and made my own with a flat seam down the centre . Worked a treat and was probably better quality and for a fraction of the cost . Lovely colour too !
Pound fabrics are great , very reliable and very well priced.
I found it limited what I could make with it . However I've learnt a lot by using it. I now know to avoid V necks and anything that has a bit of bias in it.
