This Fabric was 50p for FIVE METERS! what a bargain. its really soft and easy to sew with. I would say it has about a 50% stretch width ways and minimum stretch (about 10%) on the length. My son says they are super comfortable and doesn't mind in the slightest that he looks like he's wearing a mans 1920's bathing suit to bed :-D
This fabric is so soft and looks great made up. It sews beautifully and there is no curling when you cut pieces out. Exceptional value for money. Pattern is by Love Notions and is the Terra Tunic.
Made a start with this fabric. Very easy to sew. Now have to think of what else to make !!

For 50p outlay a perfect fabric to use in trying out my new overlocker in constructing a dress ,the perfect fabric that means any mistakes made will not cause Damage to expensive fabric in the attempt to.The finished dress is quite a success too making a feature of the stripes in the process!

Great to sew with , not ever worked with jersey fabric before and pretty pleased with the results . I made my grandsons a circus big top tent cover and have enough left over to attempt a pair of lounge pants for me . Bargain what can you buy for 50p ?
