The usual excellent quality Rose and Hubble cotton poplin. Crisp, washes well and cool to wear. Ive purchased before. This is almost finished Itch to Stitch Ladera shirt dress , just need to add sleeves and loads of button holes.

A friend asked me to make a reading cushion for her grandson using a cushion she had inherited from her mother. The cushion was made with ticking and stuffed with feathers that her mother had plucked from a chicken. We decided to cover the complete cushion in this ticking design cotton poplin and it worked perfectly.

I made pyjamas for my great niece who is tall and slim for her age. Even managed to find striped buttons as well!! Also used Pound Fabrics pink piping which was a perfect combination
I love the fabric. But would be so grateful if the operative could use a right angle cutter, rather than a freehand. On this occasion it’s only a cm but that’s my seam allowance of the cushion covers. A perfect metre would do the job. I was loathed to buy 2m (just in case). But feel next time the bend in the cut edge may infringe further and cause issues. No worries this time but something to be aware of for projects. Thank you
Such lovely cotton poplin - you can’t beat Rose & Hubble. I’ve made two Vivian dresses (Style Arc) - it washes and presses well - for two seven year old granddaughters Used the Rose & Hubble polka dot for the contrast.
I made a beautiful Bonnie Skirt by Style Arc with this fabric.

Very nice fabric, cool to wear. I made a 3/4 sleeve shirt to wear with the green bengaline pants I sewed. I now have a dress in the same green stripe and a buttoned front shirt in the yellow stripe. The fabric does crease but looks crisp when ironed.
Third time I have used this fabric, creases easily but Looks very fresh for the summer. I used the green stripe to go with the trousers I made with the green bengaline fabric.
